Ring in the New Year with Change
Financial abundance, to me, isn’t the number that on my bank statement. Sure, it’s nice to see a big, fat balance, but really when I say I want money and financial abundance I want what it represents: stability, safety, time, less stress. When I work with prosperity magic, I’m not begging the universe for scraps. I’m affirming my right to receive, to hold, and to steward abundance in ways that support my values and my nervous system.
This ritual pairs intention with embodiment. It’s gentle enough to repeat often, yet powerful enough to shift how you relate to money, work, and worth.
You’ll Need:
- A candle (green, gold, or white)
- A coin, bill, or small object that represents wealth to you
- A journal and pen
- Optional: cinnamon, bay leaf, or a favorite prosperity oil
The Ritual:
Begin by clearing your space both physically and energetically. Take a few slow breaths, placing you feet firmly on the ground. Remind yourself: I am safe to receive.
Light the candle and hold your chosen abundance token in your receptive hand (this is going to be your non-dominant hand).
Take a moment to feel what prosperity would actually change in your life, not just the numbers, but the ease, the relief, the expansion.
Then speak aloud:
“I am financially abundant and prosperous in all aspects of my life.
Money flows to me with clarity, integrity, and purpose.
I honor my labor, my creativity, and my worth.
I receive without guilt and release without fear.”
Write the affirmation at the top of your journal page and answer this prompt honestly:
If money were no longer a source of fear, how would I live, choose, and create differently?
When finished, anoint the coin (or simply breathe intention into it) and place it in your wallet as a reminder that abundance is already in motion.
Close the ritual by thanking yourself for showing up for yourself, allowing the candle to safely burn out.
A Note on Consistency:
Prosperity magic works best when paired with aligned action. I repeat this ritual monthly or whenever scarcity thoughts creep in. You are allowed to want more. You are allowed to receive it and you are allowed to build a life that feels both prosperous and peaceful.
